How ticket bookings will work

The process

The booking system will work much the same as last year. A list of all the units and the current available tickets is on our ticket page. You can click on each unit now, but the tickets will only become available tomorrow at midday Irish time.

Then you can select the number of tickets you want, to a maximum of 4. You will have to fill in all the details for each player. And finally you can make the payment through PayPal.

What you will need

For each player we will ask for the following information:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Contact email address
  • Contact phone number
  • Emergency contact number
  • Details of any medical training
  • Details of any medical conditions

If you gave us a group/team name then you can select that as well from a drop down list.

Other things

We have added a “Non-Player” ticket if you need to bring a team mechanic/hair dresser, your mother to cook, or if you have a photographer. This ticket is free, but the person cannot participate in the game at all (high viz all weekend), and they have to register with us. No one will be allowed in the game area without having been signed in. BTW, this is not a LARP role!

We have bumped up the server and resources for the booking system. However there is a limit to what we can do, so we still expect the system to slow down. Please bear with us on this.

And finally we have some small print. To make things clearer we have written up all our guidelines on how we will handle bookings. The key things are:

  • Discount tickets (€50 until June 30th). After that tickets (if any are left) will cost €60.
  • No swapping players between units after June 30th as we will share mission information from then.
  • No changes of any sort (name change, cancellations) after July 31st as we will be too close to the event.

That’s it, good luck tomorrow!

For booking tomorrow, do we pay the full price or a deposit?

  • Leon Kelly says:

I want to book 3 tickets for me and my 2 mates but i don’t use paypal so what are my options?

Hi Leon, your options then are to go to Hobby Airsoft in Cork or Dublin, or to Toy Soldier in Belfast. They can take cash bookings in the shop.
